Thanks for taking the time to visit my site and learn a little about me and what I do. I’ll start with the basics; if you haven’t figured it out yet, my name is Rustin
Charles Low & I’m a student at The University of Texas at Austin. \m/ Hook ‘em!
I grew up in Small Town, East Texas which proved challenging at times, since I’m such a city boy by heart. I’ve always been sort of a secret-nerd; at age 4 I knew how to turn on & navigate a PC, by 8 I could write HTML, by age 12 I was building small electronic devices, and by 14 I had built my own power-tank PC.
I’m the youngest of 4 brothers, all of which are directly involved with technology in their career: 3D Artist, Graphic Designer, and Photographer.
It didn’t occur to me I could turn my passion for media into a career until the time came for me to begin deciding a college and a professional path to follow. Senior year, I was thinking Pre-Med, then I moved to Business, then after some serious reconsideration I decided to take the riskier route and pursue a degree in the media field with the philosophy, “You’ll never be the best at what you do if you aren’t truly passionate about it.”
So here I am, well on my way to earning two degrees from nationally ranked programs and a certificate in business from one of the world’s most prestigious business schools. But don’t let that fool you, although I am extremely ambitious and hard-working, I’m also a very caring, fun, and personable individual.
After graduation, I hope to move to New York City and establish a Brand Management firm with a specialization in digital media. Some people tell me I dream too big, but I don’t think there’s such a thing. I am confident by nature, and I have a drive to back it up.
